Funny to think that people thought Apple was done for after Jobs died. They are unstoppable. They are the gold standard. Even when their products flop (HomePod), they are still REALLY good products. Not to mention they remain the most valuable company IN THE WORLD
They’d rather charge $3k for something they're pretty sure won’t disappoint than compromise. It’s an outstanding commitment to their brand quality over all else.

If a username is reserved but the account doesn't exist, does that mean someone who is on the waitlist requested that username and got in but hasn't set up their account yet? @gabor @sarah
Wouldn't it also apply to people who are on the waitlist and have NOT gotten in yet? My impression was that my username got reserved as soon as I joined the waitlist.
It usually means it's a VIP's handle on Insta or Twitter, and we are trying to reserve those to prevent impersonation. We have a process to manually verify ownership, ask your friend to email support@ please.
