A @t2 appreciation post. The back button on mobile has been clutch and I’m more caught up on the things I missed between hours on the platform. Also the increased speed is QUITE noticeable!

Listened to Snow White with my 5 year old on the drive to school this AM. So many parts of this tale are not "fairy" or kid-friendly.

Saw the Twitter T&S news and immediately came to @t2 to get some color/confirmation. Interesting to think of this platform as the new go to for info, kind of like how I used Twitter in the olden days.

As the T2 numbers inch up, @gabor, @sarah, do y'all have a strategy for who gets to be #1000 on the platform? :)

You beat me to it, Kehinde -- I had that same question, though mine was more along the lines of what prize user #1000 will get. Perhaps two boxes of tea, two golf tees, or two t-shirts?

One of my favorite things on T2 is seeing folks who’ve curated their follow list. Reminds me of the intentionality I had on the other platform. Curious what criteria y’all are using if it’s not the forced follow.

For me profile is helpful for shared interests but it isn’t enough, need to see a post or two to get a sense. That’s how I’ve been building out mine.

People are curating their follow lists here?! 😳 I’ve been following everyone like a madman. 😅 Lists on Twitter were a godsend for curating the signal and filtering out the noise. I don’t feel like I need that here. Yet.

Fair. I’ve mostly used profile as proxy but as more folks use the platform, def agree on seeing a couple of posts before adding.

my approach is easier at the current velocity of new users but that is likely not sustainable over time.

I suspect anyone who made the first 1k of T2 is good people, so all good for now is my assumption.

Curious about the algorithm for suggested accounts, @t2. My suggestions are consistently always men and I wonder how/why that is.

I wonder if it’s random? I’ve had a decent amount of female suggestions, but I’d also make a bet that the user base is currently strongly skewing male.

Still eager for the back button after clicking on posts in mobile web. But I’ll take a mobile app instead!

Our five-year old son has learned how to tell time, and I am not okay with this otherwise excellent development ... "Can I have 10 more minutes?" takes a whole new meaning.

Yes it was great when time was more elastic right? 3 minutes more in toddler time could really be 1 minute more in adult time 😆

Sounds like your son is about to enter the “negotiation phase.” From here on out your child is a pint sized car salesman, and you’ll be haggling over everything. 😁

Feature request, @t2: it’d be great to be able to close a thread/handle or go back to the post you clicked from, without having to press home and start at the top of the feed again. This is probably in the works (or I’m not tech savvy enough to find it). Thanks!

Is this primarily about mobile web? Or are you seeing this issue on desktop as well?
