Agree on Mercury (thanks @immad!) What do you use Ramp for? I'd rate Rippling a little higher, maybe 6/10. Their UI could use some help.

Basically all outgoing money (expenses): employee credit cards and invoice payment primarily. It’s really well done.

For cards, yes. I love Mercury but Ramp is a much much more mature cards product.

They’ll even do stuff like aggregate spend per vendor across all cards and invoices and negotiate you a better single rate on your behalf. Simple example: multiple employees individually paying for the same SaaS.

Past Paul would have never guessed that in 2023 my two favorite (and only, really) social networks would be a tiny Twitter clone started by a friend and …LinkedIn. 🤷‍♂️😏 life is full of surprise

Today was a good day. Since @limhi may ask why: Today is the day we got clear signal that a lot of people want what we're building at Quilt. Waitlist signups *far* exceeded expectations. So did the amount of support we got, genuinely humbling. Also, nothing crashed. 🎉

That's phenomenal Paul! Congratulations! 🥳 You were 100% correct, I would have asked why. Thanks for sharing the excellent news. Cheering for you!

This slide from IO today makes me irrationally proud, so cool to see the evolution and legacy continue. Huge congrats to the team who pulled this off, I’m 100% sure it was a massive effort.

Just watched the humane demo, seems like they invented.... google glass? But for your shirt pocket? 🙄

Had the same thought. The seriousness of this presentation, and the product they’ve landed on so far, smacks of a team that’s been patting themselves on the back for too long. Contrast this with Jeff Han’s multitouch demo, which let the magic of the technology speak for itself.
