Very interesting article on Sudowrite, the AI tool that promises to write a novel. It needed lots of guidance and the result is bland and cliché but also mostly coherent and I'd love to see these techniques applied in more interactive ways à la AI Dungeon theverge.com/2023/5/24/23732252/sudowrite-story-engine-ai-generated-cyberpunk-novella...

Absolutely bombarded with AI news from every corner the most miraculous thing I’ve seen this week is Windows getting support for RAR and 7ZIP. Never in my life theverge.com/2023/5/23/23734463/windows-11-will-soon-have-native-rar-support...

Genuinely though, I’m happy that Microsoft has kept at least a couple of people around to work on the fundamentals

I always hate dealing with RAR because of the extra steps. This is a welcome change.

looks like it is! hello @t2 I really love your look and it's cool to be here! from looking around for 2 seconds, in case you didn't already know, I can't seem to update any non-bio profile field (e.g. location) unless I also change my bio as the button is disabled otherwise

Hi Rayo. Welcome to T2! You mentioned cog sci in your bio. Is that cognitive science? If so, is there a specific area that you’re interested/focused in?

thank you! and yup, that was me at university. loved all of it though cognitive linguistics blew my mind the most. am currently mostly concerned with how I can take lessons from there and apply to product design & human-computer interaction! hbu?

My interest in cognitive science stems from my work helping people to achieve personal transformation and desired outcomes. Also, cognitive science of religion has great insight into our spiritual life.
