Some keep them as pets and feed them. But I also saw some being trained to send messages. I did ask if that’s what they were trying to do. Not sure if they ever pulled that off.

I might be wrong but I think only certain types can be trained to do that. I'm partial to cats as pets, they're more selective about where they poop. :D

Wow! In Manila, pigeons scare off easily and fly at the slightest twitch. Maybe because locals have been capturing them when they have the chance? Idk.
